THE WORK, FROM END TO END

Make the right decisions.
Then make them happen.

You know your business. I bring an independent perspective to validate concerns, examine options, and give your team the support to move forward.

01

Build a stronger agreement.

A good agreement connects commercial ambition with what the team can deliver.

WHEN YOU’RE BUYING

A second pair of eyes.
On your side of the table.

Validate the estimate, examine the tradeoffs, and put your concerns on a solid footing. I help you compare proposals and prepare for supplier conversations with evidence and clear priorities.

Proposal reviews, supplier evaluation, negotiation support.

WHEN YOU’RE SELLING

Make the value clear.
Make the promise deliverable.

I help software companies get from a promising conversation to a credible offer. Discovery, technical presales, estimates, and the case for a project or ongoing retainer.

A stronger proposal and a scope your team can stand behind.

I represent the client who engages me. We agree the role and address any conflicts before work starts.

02

Shape the work.
Define the plan.

Bring requirements, dependencies, and constraints into one practical plan. I work with your team on estimates, priorities, and milestones that support real delivery decisions.

Estimation & delivery planning
03

Build the team
for the work.

Work with the team you have, hire the engineer you need, or bring in a specialist. I help define roles, find and interview candidates, and make ownership clear.

Hiring & team formation
04

Keep the work
moving.

I stay involved through implementation, testing, and rollout. That includes building with AI agents and helping your team put AI to work in everyday processes. The measure of success is what the software does for your business.

Execution & technical leadership
05

Look after
what you built.

Keep the software dependable as your business evolves. We can arrange application and server monitoring, bug fixes, maintenance, and a clear route for the next improvement.

AI throughout the work. People own the result.

We use AI extensively for discovery, specifications, agentic coding, testing and everyday automation. Frontier models from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google help us move faster. Our team owns the architecture, reviews the code and remains accountable for delivery.

SELECTED EXPERIENCE

Complex in the detail.
Clear in the outcome.

Projects my team and I have delivered and products I have helped build. From financial systems and cloud migrations to IP licensing and orbital mission planning.

FINANCIAL OPERATIONSVendor bills and sales records are matched, with exceptions separated for review.
AUTOMATED RECONCILIATION. CLEAR EXCEPTIONS.

Financial control.
Built into the workflow.

As a consultant to a software vendor, I led presales with its large US customer in the printing industry. I helped the customer’s leadership build the ROI case for headquarters, then took the project through planning and implementation.

The software integrates with the billing portal, automatically parses invoice PDFs and attachments, matches vendor service bills to internal sales invoices, attributes charges, and flags discrepancies for review. An audit log records every user action, while a dedicated Insights page highlights issues and opportunities.

Delivered faster than initially planned, the tool helps the customer investigate discrepancies and identify revenue opportunities in its own data. The project helped establish a new internal business unit and uncovered an opportunity for an additional $1 million in monthly profit.

CLOUD & BUSINESS CONTINUITYA connected network of websites moves into a new cloud environment.
WORDPRESS MULTISITE MIGRATION TO A HIPAA-COMPLIANT AWS ENVIRONMENT

270+ sites.
Migration delivered.

We designed the target infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation and executed the move from WP Engine to AWS. The work covered infrastructure as code, encryption, caching, load testing, payments, and vendor integrations to meet the customer’s HIPAA-related requirements.

The migration was completed successfully. While reviewing the code, we’ve also identified and resolved a WooCommerce duplicate-payment defect that had persisted for more than two years, built a performance testing toolkit with Grafana K6, build dozens of new features and covered the customer with availability monitoring, vulnerabilities patching and automatic updates.

DATA & REPORTINGSix data sources converge into a warehouse and reporting views.
OPERATIONAL DATA WAREHOUSE WITH BIGQUERY

Thirteen data feeds.
One accessible dataset.

Rather than build a costly self-hosted data warehouse and reporting application, we designed and implemented a financial data warehouse connecting six intake systems and thirteen feed types to BigQuery datasets and Google Looker reporting. Agent-assisted implementation kept the work within a fraction of the initially planned budget.

The architecture combined BigQuery, PostgreSQL, and a custom application for entity mapping and import monitoring, designed to lower operating costs and preserve a history of data changes.

SOFTWARE ACQUISITION & TRANSITIONFragmented software assets pass through validation into a stable handover.
FROM ACQUIRED ASSETS TO A PRACTICAL HANDOVER

Software acquired.
Transition completed.

We supported a US railroad business through software acquisition, licensing, and technical validation, then led the successful move from Rackspace to AWS. The work covered software and data migration, stabilization, repository cleanup, and a structured handover.

After the migration, I was invited to advise the business during negotiations and presales with another vendor for a new AI document-recognition project. Our team identified gaps in the proposed approach and prepared our own proposal with a stronger solution architecture. We won the next engagement against much larger competitors.

IP LICENSING & WORKFLOW AUTOMATIONOnline sellers connect with licensing approvals and royalty reporting. Co-founded.
IP RAILS

From permission
to royalties.

A licensing platform connecting IP owners with online sellers on Etsy and other platforms. IP Rails brings offers, permissions, design approvals, sales reporting, and royalty invoicing into one workflow, reducing the manual work around each agreement.

I co-founded the business with a US intellectual property lawyer and experienced licensor. As CEO, I shaped the venture, attended major IP licensing conferences, and brought the CTO onto the founding team.

SPACE & MISSION PLANNINGA mission brief connects to a roadmap and satellite deployment around Earth. Founded. In progress.
ORBITRAILS

Orbital delivery.
A clearer path.

A workspace being built to make orbital delivery missions easier to understand and prepare. A reusable Mission Passport connects requirements, open questions and the steps from testing and integration to launch and deployment.

As solo founder and developer, I am building the product around guided mission preparation and direct cooperation with service providers. The pilot previews how mission details, documents and next steps can stay connected.

The first four projects were personally led through another company; client names are withheld for confidentiality. IP Rails and Orbitrails are separate founder-led ventures.

AFTER THE PLAN. AFTER THE LAUNCH.

Delivery today. Continuity tomorrow.

Implementation and ongoing application care are quoted around the actual work. Monitoring coverage, response expectations, maintenance, and bug-fix capacity are agreed before we start.

Discuss delivery or care

A smaller brief is welcome, too.

Landing pages & business websites

I shape the brief, coordinate a suitable specialist, and manage review and handover. Landing pages start at $1,000; websites of up to five pages start at $5,000. Starting prices assume supplied copy and brand assets. Hosting, licenses, and custom functionality are separate.

Finding your next engineer

Role definition, sourcing, interviews, and coordinated technical assessment. The hiring fee is one month’s gross base salary, payable when the engineer starts. That’s annual base salary divided by 12. Specialist assessments are agreed separately.

THE PERSON YOU’LL WORK WITH

Vlad Lishafai, principal consultant at OTC Software

Vlad LishafaiPrincipal Advisor & Technical Delivery

Based in Spain. Working remotely.

Comfortable with the boardroom.
Curious about the error log.

I’ve spent 15+ years in software, including 12 in IT outsourcing, serving more than 70 customers across my career. My work connects the commercial case, the technical decisions, and the people responsible for delivery.

I spent three years as a web developer, so I can read code and discuss the implementation behind a proposal. I work with engineers and managers who focus deeply on their specialties. Together, we cover the technical detail while I keep the wider project moving.

Having built startups and worked in ecommerce myself, I understand why unit economics, business metrics, and a clear definition of success belong in the conversation from day one.

Good delivery builds confidence in the company behind it. I help the businesses I work with earn their customers’ trust, strengthen their credibility, and create the basis for a lasting relationship.

FRONTIER AI. PERSONAL ACCOUNTABILITY.

I use agentic programming extensively, working with frontier AI models to build and improve software. I remain fully accountable for the delivered results, with clear specifications, testing, and technical review built into the work. I also help businesses integrate AI into everyday processes, from document handling and reporting to repeatable operational tasks.

You work directly with me. I can bring in specialist support, work with your existing team, or help you hire the people who will maintain and evolve your software.

On-site workshops or visits can be arranged. Travel time and expenses are agreed and paid separately.I speak English, Polish, Ukrainian, and Russian.
